In yesterday's art class, we started creating our sketchbook for our new project Caro. My first page I created was to show what kind of industrial materials he uses. I made the page look like a book by using brown paper to create an aged look, and drew some of the tool that he would use to create his work such as, screws and spanners onto the page using pencil. Later that day i created a page, which included many different drawings of eyes, to show what my sketch book should look like throughout my project. I also did a paper making activity with one of my instructors kat, over a ballon, so that we could do create something with it later on during the project. The method of creating this consisted of using a board to scrape out wet paper from a  tray, making sure that there was an a reasonable amount, placing a piece of cloth over it and placing it downwards onto the table so that once you lift the board the paper is left on the cloth, which you can then place carefully onto a ballon to set. Unfortunately once I'd finished, it began to deflate later that day so that I was unable to use it.
