In Today's art class, I began completing my sketch book, as today is our assessment deadline. I completed my artist research for Jasper John's, who uses quite bright colours and paint, I drew 2 of his drawings, a flag and an image, which looked like splodges of paint. I quite liked this as they were very bright and eyecatching. I also completed my artist research for Kathé Kollwitz, who used materials such as, charcoal and pen. I also drew 2 of her drawings, a drawing of a little girl in pen and a drawing of a group if young children who look like they are begging for food in pencil and charcoal. I liked this artist better as I found it easier to include more detail and found it  more difficult to paint. The only thing I was unable to complete was my first day drawing which is only half finished.  I was also unable to hand in my sculpture from ceramics,as it was still in the kiln.
