Creating my mind map, I spoke about what kind of things I wanted research such as the relationships me and my family have with our mothers. I also talked about what kind of medias I needed to use such as, pencil, oil paints , pastels and even the constraints we were given, which was we weren't allowed to use the colour blue. After creating this mindmap, I created another stating what I needed to do to be able to pass each criteria of the project.
Creating my mood board, I researched images on Pinterest that I thought would link to my research and project. I wanted to use images that showed how a mother cares for and comforts her child. I have also recreated some of these images within my sketchbook as part of my secondary research.
