FMP - PHOTOSHOOT

For my development sheets, I wanted to do a photoshoot to help create some bright photographs by editing them using photoshop.
My class mate was happy enough to help, so I used her as my model as I felt that she was a very photogenic person.
I used different lighting equipment such as butterfly lighting and a beauty dish, then at the side of my model I had fill light.
This is one of the side views I had taken using an ISO of 1-600. I had a lot of fun taking these photographs as I have only ever done this in one other project
My aim was to take photographs at different perspectives/ angles, both side view and front view. Once I had taken these photographs, I then went to photoshop and messed around a little, creating different and colourful effects; this was one of my outcomes, which I created by altering the hue and lighting and by adding an oil paint filter.

These are some of the other examples of the photos that I had taken during the photoshoot. The next 2 photos that are showing, were taken by using the burst mode on my camera with a fast ISO, so that I was able to catch my model whilst she was flipping her hair.

I then altered the vignette in a circular shape on the  image, so that it makes you focus on the middle of the image. I also altered the hue and saturation on this, like  the first edited image, as I liked the colours that it created on it. The next image is a better example of one of the burst images that I had taken, which I really like, as you can see the movement in the image better.

I altered this image to have more purples than the last image, which I think works really well. I also added a circular lighting effect, which created the circles in the middle of the image. I plan on creating these as some of my designs sheets for my final piece.

FMP- BUSINESS CARD RESEARCH

First:
I feel like this business card corporate than creative as I feel that it is too plain and doesn't have much detail on the design.

Second :
I really like this one, as it looks more like a creative business card with the detailed design on the front of the card, which I feel fits the type of artist well as it is to help show off a mixed media artist. I also like how the artist has used a quote at the bottom of the business card, which I feel is quite inspirational.

Third:
I don't think this one works as well as I feel that you shouldn't include your home address on the business card, for strangers to see. However, I do like the design that has been used as I feel that it fits the type of artist that is being advertised.

Fourth:
I understand that this business card is for a gallery dealer, however I feel that it is too plain, and if you were to pick out of so many business cards, it wouldn't catch your eye and you wouldn't choose to look at it. Also, like the one above, it includes their home address, which I feel shouldn't be on their.

Fifth:
I also really like this creative business, which I feel catches your eye. I like the style of the font and I feel that it has all the correct information on it, except what type of artist/ designer they are.
