Over the week I have been creating sketch book pages,  influenced by Anthony Caro and Alexander Calder. I drew  images of  their work; some of which were presented in the Hepworth and YSP gallery. Today I began coming up with ideas for my final project, researching the Renaissance era. I decided to Base my final project on buildings and to interpret Anthony Caro into it. Also, in todays art class in groups of 3,  we had to create a sculpture within our group,  which didn't work very well. Tia, eve and I began creating our sculpture. However we didn't have any ideas on what to create, so we just starting making things. We used pipe cleaners and a playdo container to try and make it balance, without touching the floor, however the container was too heavy and the pipe cleaners couldn't hold the weight so we had to  compromise and place it so that the container was on the floor,  also because we couldn't think of any ideas we ran out of time at this point and couldn't add anything else.
